Konbanwa kazuyuki-san, yes I know it's not the most typical foreigner interest. I also want to get to know the early years of Yokohama. I realize that right now I will not be able to make much improvement with my Japanese. (probaly no hiragana, certainly no kanji...) But just a little is better than nothing.

I want to achieve a basic understanding of Japanese for travelling, easy communication and simple texts. I am interested in kamaboko, Japanese beer history, Japanese food and culture in general. If someone would like to learn Norwegian, I work as a Norwegian jorunalist. But English is fine.
